Horse Pulling Contest

Located on the Legion's Grounds

Saturday - 9:30 a.m.

To be eligible, every team must have been owned by contestant at least 30 days prior to the contest, and no horse will be allowed to pull in more than one class.

Order of pulling will be drawn by lot 15 minutes before the scheduled time for starting. Anyone not present at the drawing will be assigned a number by the judge.

The contest will be governed by the Rules of the Wisconsin Horse Pullers Association. These rules will be strictly enforced. Any decision of the judges will be final.

A representative of the State Humane Office, or a local humane officer, may be present at any contest.

Coggins Test: You will be required to show proof of current negative Coggins Test upon entry to the pulling grounds.

Weigh-In will be from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

Class 1: 3,200 lbs. and less...starts at 9:30 a.m. Sharp

Class 2: 3,200 lbs. and more...starting 20 minutes after Class 1

Prize Money for each class:

1st - $90.00; 2nd - $80.00; 3rd - $70.00; 4th - $60.00; 5th - $50.00; 6th - $40.00, 7th - $30.00
